Wire, clay, acrylic
This series of 11 sculptures stemmed from my love of foals: their exaggerated anatomy, lively movement, and their new-ness to the world. The layered clay and raw paint application give each sculpture a sense of vitality.
These pieces were created for an exhibition called "Positively Petite" where no piece could be more than 4" (10cm) tall or long.
